The position-2-versus-position-8 explanation resolved something I had assumed was a contradiction between two of our own articles. It should probably be linked from the semaglutide article. CuriousCallum (talk) 10:50, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

Linked. It is exactly the kind of thing a general article should carry so the specific ones do not each have to. ✓ Done CrossRefCleve (talk) 14:15, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

Done. This thread is closed. Reopening it is fine if new sources appear; please add a new subsection rather than editing the closed discussion.

Scope creep

This article is acquiring material that belongs in the specific articles it links to. The impurity paragraph in particular is close to duplicating Analytical method validation. ScopeSeverin (talk) 11:20, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

It is three sentences and it explains why specificity matters for peptides specifically, which the method article assumes. I would keep it but agree the article should be watched for growth. Chromatokid (talk) 15:05, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

Agreed — watching rather than trimming for now. ScopeSeverin (talk) 09:35, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
