Islet-derived GLP-1: how much weight to give it?

The paragraph on alpha-cell PC1/3 upregulation is fair but the field is genuinely split. I would rather the article said the physiological importance in humans is debated than implied a settled position either way. ProglucagonPia (talk) 09:50, 11 February 2026 (UTC)

It already says "debated". I have added the reason the debate is hard to settle: circulating concentrations are small but delivery is local. LCellLeif (talk) 13:28, 11 February 2026 (UTC)

That is the right framing. Leaving open. ProglucagonPia (talk) 08:15, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Assay cross-reactivity deserves its own articleResolved

The measurement section is good and is doing work that no other article on this wiki does. Should it be spun out? AnalyticalAnnie (talk) 11:07, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

Not yet. Two paragraphs do not make an article, and the material is most useful next to the explanation of why the epitopes overlap. Revisit if it grows. ✓ Done ScopeSeverin (talk) 14:33, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

Resolved. This thread is closed. Reopening it is fine if new sources appear; please add a new subsection rather than editing the closed discussion.
