Melanoma case reportsResolved

The confounding here is severe — self-selection for tanning behaviour and increased surveillance both inflate the apparent association. The article must say so without dismissing the mechanistic concern. MelanocortinMil (talk) 09:50, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Three-part formulation: mechanism exists, reports exist, causation not demonstrated. That is as far as the evidence goes. ✓ Done HedgeHedda (talk) 13:25, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Non-selectivity as the themeDone

Framing the whole article around non-selectivity explains both the effects sought and the effects not sought, which is more useful than listing them separately. ReceptorRhoda (talk) 10:20, 20 April 2026 (UTC)

And it makes the later selective compounds legible as a correction rather than as unrelated drugs. ✓ Done MelanocortinMil (talk) 13:55, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
