Half-life table: are the figures comparable?Resolved
The half-life column mixes terminal elimination half-lives from different study designs. Exenatide's 2.4 h is from a single-dose study; semaglutide's 165 h is from steady state. Putting them in one column implies a comparability that is not there. — HalfLifeHavel (talk) 09:12, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
Agreed in principle, but a reader wants the order of magnitude and the table gives it. I have added the mechanism column so the difference in kind is visible rather than only the difference in number. — MolarMassMaeve (talk) 13:40, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
That works. The mechanism column carries the caveat implicitly, and a reader who needs exact parameters will go to the individual articles. ✓ Done — HalfLifeHavel (talk) 08:55, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
