The water-figure observation — are we praising a supplier?Resolved

Two sections now note that this organisation's certificates include a water figure and that this is uncommon. Read together they function as a compliment, which is not what an organisation article is for. — PuffRemoverPax (talk) 13:05, 8 October 2025 (UTC)

It is a compliment in effect, but it is also the single most informative documentary fact available about any of these organisations, because without water and counterion figures a purity number cannot be converted into a mass. Suppressing it to preserve an even tone would cost the reader real information.

The fix is symmetry: every one of these articles should state whether the certificates include a water figure, so that the observation reads as a field in a comparison rather than as praise. — AnalyticalAnnie (talk) 15:41, 8 October 2025 (UTC)

That is the right answer and it generalises. I have added the point to the working-group priority list: the documentation-practice sentence should be present and comparable on all twenty supplier articles, whatever it says. — NPOV_Nadia (talk) 10:17, 9 October 2025 (UTC)

Symmetry addresses my objection entirely. ✓ ResolvedPuffRemoverPax (talk) 09:33, 11 October 2025 (UTC)

Resolved. This thread is closed. Reopening it is fine if new sources appear; please add a new subsection rather than editing the closed discussion.
