Category 2 table: which revision, and should earlier revisions be shown?Done

The Category 2 table follows the 2023 revision. Readers with older training will be looking for the low-, medium- and high-risk classification, which the revision replaced. Should the article show the mapping, or would that just double the length of the section? — PharmDrafts (talk) 11:26, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

There is no clean mapping — the categories are drawn on a different axis, by compounding environment rather than by manipulation risk, so any table purporting to map them would misrepresent both. A sentence saying the classification changed and that the older scheme is not equivalent is the honest version. — Compounding_Cate (talk) 14:49, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

Agree there is no mapping. I would add the year of the revision to the table caption rather than only to the source note, since the caption is what gets screenshotted. — GMP_Gita (talk) 09:33, 15 May 2025 (UTC)

Caption dated, non-equivalence stated, no mapping attempted. Closing. ✓ DoneRef_Desk_Ron (talk) 10:21, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

Done. This thread is closed. Reopening it is fine if new sources appear; please add a new subsection rather than editing the closed discussion.
