How this search works

The index is built at the same time as the pages and shipped as a static file. Matching runs entirely in the browser: the query is never transmitted, no server sees it, and nothing is logged. Titles are weighted above summaries, exact title matches above partial ones, and shorter titles above longer ones where scores tie.

The index covers page titles and summaries rather than full text, so a phrase buried in the middle of an article will not be found here. For that, use the article index or a search engine restricted to this domain.
