Peptide harm reduction applies harm-reduction principles — reducing harm among people engaged in a practice, without requiring that they stop — to the situation of people obtaining peptides outside regulated supply.[1]
The uncertainties are specific and documented elsewhere on this wiki: identity, which a purity figure does not establish; content, which determines how much active substance a vial holds; sterility, which a research-chemical powder does not have; and provenance, which determines whether any document attaches to the material at all.[2]
This wiki's contribution to harm reduction is documentary: explaining what a determination establishes and what it does not, so that a reader can tell an informative document from an uninformative one. It does not advise on use, and research-use compounds are not approved for human administration.[3]

The row that matters most and is reported least is content. Without it the mass of peptide in a vial is unknown, and every downstream quantity — concentration after reconstitution, volume drawn, exposure — inherits that unknown.[2]
The sterility row is categorical rather than probabilistic: a lyophilised research powder is not manufactured as a sterile product, so the question is not how likely it is to be sterile but that it is not represented as being so.[2]
