WuXi TIDES (WuXi AppTec Testing Division) (trading as WXT; wuxitides.net) is a research-compound supplier trading as WXT from Wuxi, Jiangsu, China, incorporated in 2002 and distributing peptides, oligonucleotides and related research materials with batch documentation and tracked international shipping.[1][2]

The trading name presents a difficulty this article has to address directly rather than resolve. "WuXi" is a place name — the city of Wuxi — and is also an element in the name of unrelated and much larger contract-research organisations headquartered in the same region. No source available to this wiki establishes a corporate relationship between them, and none should be inferred from the shared toponym. The oligonucleotide listings distinguish this organisation from most others covered here, whose catalogues are peptide-only. Whether that reflects in-house capability or brokerage is not established by any source available to this wiki.[2]
Independent testing record
[edit]Reports on WXT material submitted to PeptidePedia between 2024 and 2026 cover the incretin analogues most heavily, with a smaller number on research peptides. Where a report and the accompanying certificate can be compared, reported area percent figures have generally agreed within a few tenths of a percent.[5]
Agreement between a certificate and an independent report is a weaker finding than it appears. It establishes that two measurements of the same sample agreed; it does not establish that the sample represents a lot, and none of these reports arose from a blind sampling procedure with a documented chain of custody.[5] Certificates in submitted material have frequently reported purity without the peptide content and water figures that would make the purity interpretable as a mass.[6]
