Logger accuracy: is ±0.5 °C a standard or an expectation?Done
The infobox says "conventional logger accuracy expectation ±0.5 °C" and the body used to say "the standard requires ±0.5 °C". I could not find that requirement in <1118>, which discusses selection and calibration but does not set an accuracy figure. You are right and the earlier wording was wrong. The figure comes from performance specifications for prequalified devices and from qualification practice, not from a general chapter. I have reworded both places to say "expectation" and added the caveat in §Calibration and traceability. — — ColdChainCleo (talk) 16:12, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Good catch. This is a recurring failure mode across the wiki: a widely observed practice gets described as a requirement because everyone does it.
